South Wales Central Conservative MS Andrew RT Davies has warned discrimination against non-Welsh speakers will increase if Plaid Cymru separatists win May’s Senedd elections.
Trefor and Llanaelhaearn Community Council, located within the Gwynedd Council area, requested a planning condition that 15 homes are reserved for people who are able to speak Welsh.
It follows proposals by the Plaid Cymru separatist-led Gwynedd Council to phase out English language education in the county.
Mr Davies said:
This proposal to reserve housing for Welsh speakers only follows plans by the Plaid Cymru separatist-led Gwynedd Council to phase out English language education.
Gwynedd is one of the few places Plaid Cymru separatists are in power – and we should judge them by their record.
If Plaid Cymru separatists win the Senedd elections, discrimination against non-Welsh speakers will increase.
