Welsh Conservative Shadow Environment Minister Andrew RT Davies has called on Plaid Cymru ministers to bring forward a statement on the Conwy wildfire.
Firefighters have stood down the major incident following a blaze near the Conwy Mountain and Sychnant Pass.
Mr Davies praised emergency services’ response to the incident but said Senedd ministers must provide “all support necessary” to aid the area’s recovery.
He warned of impacts on tourism and the local economy.
Mr Davies said:
“Our firefighters and emergency services worked incredibly hard to tackle the Conwy wildfire – and I pay tribute to them.
“It’s now important the area gets all the support it needs to aid its recovery, particularly regarding impacts on the local environment, economy and tourism.
“Plaid Cymru ministers must bring forward a statement outlining the action they’re taking.”
