Conservative Senedd member for the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend Andrew RT Davies has criticised Plaid Cymru’s plans to create a Shadow Broadcasting and Communications Authority for Wales.
Culture Minister Heledd Fychan announced the plans in a written statement, in which she admitted broadcasting is not devolved to the Senedd.
Mr Davies said:
“Plaid Cymru separatists’ decision to waste money on a Shadow Broadcasting Authority while breaking their free childcare pledge is a very bad look.
“Broadcasting is not the Senedd’s responsibility.
“Plaid’s habit of pursuing policies outside their remit is taking resources from where they’re most needed.”
