Responding to Cardiff South and Penarth MP Stephen Doughty failing to vote in favour of an inquiry into grooming gangs, Andrew RT Davies MS, Senedd Member for South Wales Central and former Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“Penarth residents will take a very dim view of this.
“The suffering victims of grooming gangs have endured nationwide is still not fully understood, and blocking an inquiry means many stories will never be heard.
“It’s vital that we have a proper national inquiry into grooming gangs.”
