South Wales Central Conservative MS Andrew RT Davies has condemned news exposing that meat from China, Thailand and Brazil is being served in school meals in Wales.
Mr Davies said there was no excuse for local authorities to be serving anything other than British meat.
Just two local authorities sourced all chicken meat from the UK.
Mr Davies said:
“British meat is the best around.
“There’s no excuse for schools in Wales to serve meat sourced from anywhere else.
“School should serve British meat only.”
