Conservative Senedd member for the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend Andrew RT Davies has spoken of his enjoyment at attending this year’s Bridgend Country Show.
The two-day show took place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July.
Mr Davies described agricultural show season as his “favourite time of year” and praised the way it “brings our rural communities together”.
He said it was a pleasure catching up with friends old and new.
He thanked the Show’s organisers and exhibitors for the hard work they put in to make it a success.
Mr Davies said:
“Agricultural show season is my favourite time of year.
“Our shows are so important in bringing our rural communities together.
“It was a pleasure to attend the Bridgend Country Show and catch up with friends old and new.
“Walking around the show ground, folk are never afraid to tell it how it is – just the way I like it!
“From the organisers to exhibitors, I’d like to thank everyone who helped make the Show a success – they really did a top job.”
