Conservative Senedd member for the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend Andrew RT Davies has emphasised the important role horse racing plays in the local economy, following a visit to Tim Vaughan Racing.
The business is based at Pant Wilkin Equestrian Centre, just outside Cowbridge.
The Centre hosts a top-class racehorse training facility, as well as a competition and training venue to the wider equestrian community.
It is an important employer in the local area.
Mr Davies said:
“Horseracing is an important industry in the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend, with many local jobs depending upon it.
“It’s vital we do all we can to support it and help it thrive.
“I’m really grateful to Tim for the warm welcome to Pant Wilkin Stables and for taking the time to show me around.”
