VIEW FROM THE SENEDD: Fund our NHS, not Plaid’s 36 new Senedd members

Andrew RT Davies

Senedd ministers are covering up a damning report into conduct at Cardiff’s Heath Hospital.

The report, leaked to Walesonline, includes serious allegations of deliberate sabotage of surgical equipment.

But Senedd ministers are refusing to publish it.

This is a disgrace.

This week in the Senedd, I asked Health Minister Jeremy Miles to make it available to the public.

There’s a clear public interest in doing so. Senedd ministers must be open and transparent. Not sweep it under the carpet.

Senedd ministers are to blame for these serious failures of governance.

For years, Plaid Cymru separatists and Labour starved our NHS of money and resources.

While effort was put into Plaid’s coalition demand for 36 more Senedd members, health was ignored.

This isn’t the only wasteful spending, either. There’s the Nation of Sanctuary for asylum seekers and Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan too.

The problems at the Heath Hospital should have been addressed long ago.

Vale patients have been failed. They deserve better.

Scrap the separatists’ ideological projects and fund our NHS.
